VA VOAD

Virginia Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters

April 24, 2020

April 19 – 25 Is National Volunteer Week

Thank You, Volunteers!

VA VOAD would like to thank all volunteers who are working to make our communities safer, healthier, and stronger!  We would especially like to thank our member organizations who do so much to help Virginians before, during, and after disasters.

COVID-19 Volunteer Guidelines is a resource for individuals and organizations to follow during the pandemic.  All volunteer activities should adhere to these critical health and safety protocols.

If you interested in volunteering but are afraid of the risks at this time, there are many virtual (online) and other opportunities that can be done safely from your home. To find events, projects, and organizations (near you and remotely), please visit All For Good.

To learn more about building your organization’s voluntary capacity in Virginia, please visit the Virginia Service.
